DUNAJSKÁ STREDA – Slovak football fortunalist FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda hired goalkeeper Ricardo Abel Barbosa Ferreira, with whom he signed a contract until the summer of 2023. The 32-year-old Portuguese has over two hundred starts in a Portimonense jersey. Ferreira is a pupil of Sporting Braga.

Ferreira is a pupil of Sporting Braga. In the 2007/2008 season, he became a member of the first team, but did not intervene in the competition. He spent the next two seasons visiting SC Olhanense, where he contributed to the top competition and made his debut. In the summer of 2010 he transferred to CS Maritimo. He spent the year 2013/2014 hosting in the then second-league Portimonense SC, where he subsequently won a permanent contract. In the spring of 2017, as a goalkeeper unit, he celebrated with the team the return to the premier league company. “I have seen the club’s fantastic infrastructure and the conditions available here predispose the DAC to be successful.
