Mosquito Net Bonus 2021, an incentive valid for expenses incurred throughout the current year. The maximum deductible spending limit is 60 thousand euros and consists of the deduction of Irpef or Iref taxes for an amount equal to 50% of the expenditure incurred by 31 December 2021. However, it is essential that the installed mosquito nets also have the function of sunscreen , thus helping to improve the energy efficiency of the building. Therefore, all those who install solar shading mosquito nets are entitled to tax relief. More specifically, they can obtain the bonus: – Owners of real estate units (natural or legal persons); – Naked owners; – Tenants and tenants, as long as they agree with the owner and bear the expenses. The 2021 Mosquito Net Bonus is also valid for properties of any cadastral category, as long as they already exist. All units still under construction are therefore excluded. Is the bonus also valid for those who live in a condominium? The answer is yes: it will be sufficient to have the approval of the condominium assembly to be able to carry out the work, if the regulation provides for it. Even the condominium itself can access the concession for those windows that are located in common parts of the structure. The allowed mosquito nets They must first of all, as mentioned previously, also have the function of a solar screen, and more in detail respect the requirements of thermal transmittance U, with a Gtot value, which indicates the solar factor, greater than 0.35. They must also be fixed: mountable and removable mosquito nets are not valid. They must be installed on a glazed surface – windows, French windows – in any way exposed.
