The German hockey players took care of the first surprise of the tournament, when they defeated the Czech Republic 2: 1 after extra time. They enjoyed the triumph properly on and off the ice.

Disgusting foul and famous goalkeeper

The match between Slovakia and Sweden surprised many, although the favorite of the match won 3: 0, but it was not a better team at all. But Slovakia did not score even once out of 48 shots, the hero of the duel was goalkeeper Jesper Wallstedt.

The match was also marked by Leo Lööf’s ugly foul on Šimon Nemc, the referees gave him a penalty of five minutes plus until the end of the match.
