Covid Italy, hospitalizations increase in 15 regions and provinces

The hospitalizations of Covid patients in the ordinary wards of Italian hospitals increase: in 24 hours there was an increase, more or less marked, in 15 regions and autonomous provinces, according to the latest data from the National Agency for Health Services (Agenas), updated to yesterday evening. And – compared to a stable national average at 15%, the maximum threshold for the occupation of beds in non-critical medical departments – there are 11 regions and public administrations that exceed it: Calabria (28%), Friuli Venezia Giulia ( 22%), Lazio (16%), Liguria (28%), Marche (21%), Bolzano (18%), Trento (17%), Sicily (18%), Valle d’Aosta (31%) and Veneto (18%). Read also As regards the increase in hospitalizations in the 24 hours, the greatest one was recorded in the province of Bolzano, with +3 percentage points: on December 26th the value was precisely on the threshold value of 15%, yesterday it jumped to 18 %. Umbria records a + 2%, while a + 1% is observed in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Molise, Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany, Valle d’Aosta.
