In Iran, Christmas celebrations more and more visible

Little by little, Christmas is making a place for itself in Tehran. The celebrations are increasingly visible in the capital of the Islamic republic, where many Christians from Iran live. But beyond the Christian community, Iranians of all religions come to participate in the festivities to meet Father Christmas and experience a moment of sharing.

The only downside: the Omicron variant which forced the government to ask the population to avoid large gatherings.
