The benefits of vaccination are indisputable, thanks to which mankind has eradicated several serious diseases. But the fact is that many children do not respond well to the mandatory vaccination with live vaccines, so the concerns of parents are in place. “The risks of live vaccines are innateis forms of immunodeficiency, ” explains MUDr. Marta Dobáková, medical director of Unilabs.

When vaccinating this group of children, there is an increased risk of severe inflammation such as bone inflammation, meningitis, sepsis, fungal or various atypical bacterial infections. There is a test that can detect congenital immune disorders and serious genetic defects in time.

The Vaccine Safety Test (TREC | KREC) is a simple and minimally invasive test. It can be done by children up to six months of age, or until the first vaccination with a live vaccine. Three drops of blood from the baby’s heel or finger are enough to perform the test.

“Thanks to the test, parents will be able to prepare not only for vaccinations. They will also learn how their child’s immunity is doing and will be able to adapt the whole care regime to him, including laterch nadmissions to nurseries or nurseries, ” adds expert.
