Sports journalist Jacques Vendroux on his way to Europe 1 – OZAP

Europe 1 opens the winter transfer window. He will be present as a columnist and will speak every Friday in the program “Le studio des Légendes”, from 8 pm to 9 pm on Europe 1. On the occasion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the figure of sports journalism will also record several major interviews and prepare a podcast on the history of sport for the station now controlled by Vincent Bolloré.

Present in the public service for 55 years

It is a flagship voice of public service that is leaving. He was present at the ORTF, then at Radio France for 55 years. In parallel with his media activities, Jacques Vendroux has been at the head since September 1971 of the Variétés Club de France, a football club bringing together media personalities and intended to raise money for associations. On October 14, he also managed to convince Emmanuel Macron to participate in a match, the earnings of which were donated to the Hospitals of Paris and Hospitals of France foundation.
