Two years ago, Happy New Year was a huge success. Slovaks as well as Czechs were therefore pleased when the creators announced that they were planning to continue it. The gala premiere was scheduled for this Christmas. Today, however, it is already clear that we will not see it in Slovakia. At least not now … Well, in our western neighbors, the film will hit theaters after the holidays.

However, the filmmakers and actors met beforehand to drink the news – they organized a “party”. So at least in Prague they called it that. The acting aces Dagmar Havlová, Jiří Bartoška and Janko Koleník met on the Vltava embankment and from Bratislava they were joined online by Emília Vášáryová, Táňa Pauhofová, Zuzana Norisová, Gabriela Marcinková, Anička Kadeřávková, Jozef Vajda, Tomáš Maštalír, Marek Majeský, producer Adriana Kronerová and director Jozef Kroner.

“We shot in Croatia in May. It was beautiful there, we really enjoyed it. He will come to Slovak cinemas when the situation allows.
