Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OĽANO) is responsible for compulsory vaccinations. “The direction is set and we are following it,” he said. He responded to questions about whether he would promote this solution. The prime minister will attend a summit of the EU and Eastern Partnership countries on Wednesday, which is also to address the pandemic of the new coronavirus. However, he does not think that the current pan-European decision or regulations will fall on the issue of compulsory vaccination.

The Slovak government has already adopted resolutions to prepare legal analyzes of individual options for compulsory vaccination. Heger sees this as a signal that the partners understand the issue and that this path must have an open door.
