Miss Universe 2021: find out who is the winner

Sunday, December 12, 2021 was held the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition. At the end of the competition, which took place in Israel, which young woman won the 2021 Miss Universe pageant?

They all wanted to win the crown! The day after the election of Miss France 2022, the 70th edition of the Miss Universe 2021 contest took place in Israel. In total, 80 Miss, aged 18 to 28, tried their luck. At the end of the competition, it was Miss India, Harnaaz Sandhu, who won the title of Miss Universe 2021, succeeding the Mexican Andrea Meza. His first runner-up is Miss Paraguay, Nadia Ferreira. Aged 21, Harnaaz Sandhu had already been crowned Miss Diva 2021, Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 and placed in the Top 12 at Femina Miss India 2019! Thanks to her victory, she became the third Indian woman to be crowned Miss Universe. Model, the pretty brunette of 1.76m is already followed by 700,000 people on Instagram!

If she has not yet expressed herself since winning the competition, it is before going on stage that she confided in her fans on social networks. To accompany a video retracing her journey, the pretty brunette wrote: “Faith is not seen. She feels herself. This is the feeling I have in my heart today. I have faith in God, my family, and the blessings you have all bestowed on me. I enjoyed my trip and as we near the end of this wonderful competition I want to relive memories with my family, my Punjab. I want you all to know that I am grateful for each of you and for all the experiences I have had during this month. I am already a winner. I got you all.

Harnaaz Sandhu: “It was an adventure filled with love”

A few hours before the parade, Harnaaz Sandhu, had confided how grateful she was to be able to participate in the Miss Universe. With emotion, she wrote on Instagram: “It has been 74 days since the day I was chosen to represent India at Miss Universe 2021. It has been an adventure filled with love, fun and hard work. As I am going to this stage today as India, I carry with me your prayers and your love. Thank you to my family for supporting me, today and always. Thank you to all the designers who made the woman in front of you so pretty. Thanks everyone. It wouldn’t have been possible without you. India is for you!
