Bake all over Slovakia – final trio: from left: Lucia, Miňo and Alenka.

The sympathetic and skilful easternist Alena Sabolová, the perfectionist and master of chocolate work Lucia Piterka and the only man – the creative and talented Miňo Macuľa – won their place in the final trio. One of them will “bake” the rare title “master of amateur bakers and confectioners” on Sunday.

The finalists will again have 3 challenges – in the personal they will deal with three types of sandwiches, in the technical they will be surprised by the difficulty of Doboš’s cuts and in the creative they will present their three-story cakes inspired by art.

The mentioned Doboš’s cuts will be prepared by the competitors in the master final according to the original recipe. The jurors will warn them before the challenge about what to pay special attention to – take a look in the video.

During the finals, the trio will have several surprises, but the biggest of them is the presence of their loved ones – families, friends and, of course, the finalists of the first series, who will keep their fingers crossed and support them right in front of the tent. The winner of the first series of the show will be baked all over Slovakia by a pair of jurors – Petra Tóthová and Jozefína Zaukolcová.

Final set

Lucia Piterka (43 years old)
Lucia, a Bratislava woman, although she studied international relations, has a very close relationship with art, she enjoys painting and her desserts and desserts also carry an artistic touch. Her passion is pralines and in 2020 she also completed a course specializing in this type of dessert. Lucia has two sons and is currently on maternity leave. Baking grew to her heart when she was 17 years old while studying at a girls’ school in Austria. Lucia excels in her precision and perfectionism. Her biggest dream is to open a shop with her own chocolate and her favorite pralines.

Miroslav “Mino” Macula (39 years old)
Vesely Mira from Bratislava is all called Mino. He graduated from the hotel academy and also completed a bartending course, but his greatest passion is baking. He got the basics from his grandmother and mother and draws a lot from traditional grandmother’s recipes, which she makes special with her creativity. He bakes mainly for fun and for his loved ones, he often presents his desserts to his neighbors. Mino is self-taught and baking is an art and a science for him, it is a combination of precise procedures with a great deal of creativity. His dream is to open a confectionery with a cafe.

Alena Sabolová (41 years)
The sympathetic Easterner Alenka comes from Sliepkoviec and in her work she follows the motto “help and protect”. He has a 17-year-old son and spends his free time in the garden. Her specializations include carwing – artistic fruit carving and she is a master at baking macaroons. She has been baking since she was 13 years old and she learned everything more or less on her own, she was inspired by her mother and aunt. She also took a course in baking macaroons, but as she says, she bakes them anyway. Her dream is to open her own pastry shop and prepare catering.
