COPENHAGEN – Slovana Bratislava footballers lost in their last match in the basic F-group of the European Conference League on the field FC Copenhagen 0: 2. The Danish team was already sure of advancing to the round of 16 before the match, Slovan was fighting for advancing to the sixteenth playoff. PAOK Thessaloniki finally fought into it, defeating Lincoln Red Imps from Gibraltar 2: 0.

In the 30th minute, however, Wind placed his shot to the post after Haraldsson’s action and Copenhagen led. The Slavs did not perform optimally in the first half, except for Medvedev’s chances, they did not develop a more serious opportunity to score.

After the change of sides, Böving was the first to fire dangerously, but he overshot. A few minutes later, however, Wind took the Kankava ball, sent the center into the penalty area from the left, and after Haraldsson was knocked down, Höjlund sent the ball for Chovan – 2: 0.

Slovana’s coach had an extra briefing during the break, and after that his players had solid organization. Slovan was not helped by other substitutions and after the bloodless performance he said goodbye to EKL.
