In an attempt to regulate the situation, the doctor insisted: “we invite patients as much as possible to dial 116-117 to allow regulation with city medicine, or 15 for emergencies, before going to the hospital. The teams are at the end of what they can do. “

Three clusters in the establishment

Under the effect of the White Plan, the teams therefore spent 12 hours and a few additional beds could be opened in the departments by doubling the rooms. The visits are also limited to the strict minimum while three clusters were identified in the hospital, under the effect of contamination “probably coming more from visitors, the staff being vaccinated and the patients systematically tested” underlines Doctor Fuseau.

The objective of these measures: to try to reduce the passages and the tension, to avoid the opening of dedicated Covid units “which mobilize a large volume of staff” by “hoping to last until Christmas, a traditionally quieter period, without having to deprogram the operation. “
