Originally from Congo-Brazzaville, Dominique Fatima Voumbo Matoumona directs several research projects on malaria, in particular on the resistance of the parasites that cause this disease to existing antimalarial treatments. It studies the resistance genes of mosquitoes and aims to provide national malaria control programs with a tool for analyzing the use of current treatments.
