Msx International, Ugo De Carolis new CEO and president

Msx International, a world leader in providing business process outsourcing services for the automotive sector, today announced the appointment of the Italian Ugo de Carolis as CEO and Executive Chairman. De Carolis will take over with immediate effect from Patrick Katenkamp, ​​who has decided to embark on a new business venture. De Carolis is a mechanical engineer with a degree from the Sapienza University of Rome and has twenty years of experience in various sectors, both in Italy and abroad. During his career he has held various top positions in the transport, automotive, infrastructure and finance sectors. The manager was CEO of Aeroporti di Roma for four years, during which he managed the Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, the digital transformation and the development of infrastructures, ensuring their operational excellence. This commitment was rewarded by the Airport Council International’s Quality Measure (Asq), which recognized Fiumicino airport as the “Best European Hub” for three consecutive years. Before that, De Carolis had been CEO of Telepass, which he led the transformation from a motorway toll management company to a player in the mobility sector and launched numerous new initiatives throughout Europe.
