Thanks to the challenger triumph in Helsinki, he moved from 103rd to 87th in the ATP Entry rankings. At the same time, he secured participation in the main competition at the inaugural grand slam tournament of the new Australian Open season.

Molčanov’s teammate from the Slovak Davis Cup team Norbert Gombos is 117th, Andrej Martin has the 121st place. There were no changes at the top of the rankings. The position of sovereign leader was maintained by the Serb Novak Djokovic, the second by the Russian Daniil Medvedev and the third by the German Alexander Zverev, who won the championship for the second time in Turin on Sunday.
