PS5: Sony files a patent for the side plates of its console – GAMERGEN.COM

The PlayStation 5 is now one year old and Sony still does not offer customizable plates for its console, a point that he has yet put forward several times during the promotion. Worse, the manufacturer sues third-party companies, citing pending patents.

Well, theUnited States Patent and Trademark Office just recorded a patent dropping by Sony and which concerns the hulls of his PS5. The patent simply details the side plates of the machine, including their attachment system. allowing them to be installed or removed easily. Ideal for changing the look of your console in seconds.

For now, this changes absolutely nothing for the players, but Sony finally seems to be shifting into high gear and should soon unveil its first official plates for PS5, and why not models made by approved third parties.
