‘Guarantor Partner and Esg Committee’, a new vision of the law firm

AndPartners Tax and Law Firm, a law and tax firm awarded at the 2021 Sustainability Awards of Legalcommunity, unveils its innovative concept of governance to the public. First in Italy, he has instead acquired a “Guarantor Partner”, giving the utmost importance to human relationships in the Firm. His role, in fact, recalls and develops the figure of the mentor: in Homer’s Odyssey, Mentor was the friend of Ulysses to whom he entrusted his son Telemachus to advise and protect him. The first mandate as a Guarantor Partner was entrusted, with the unanimous consent of the partners, to Paola Desideri Zanardelli, lawyer and partner of the Firm, who will be called to intervene in relation to interpersonal relationships, taking care of maintaining balanced relationships, to ensure a peaceful environment, both inside and outside the Firm, and general well-being in the workplace.At the basis of the mission carried out by the figure of the “Guarantor Partner”, there is the idea that a stimulating, dynamic, collaborative but also healthy competitive arises from the optimization of the relationships between the people who work there. The second corporate body that was set up by the Firm, in line with the best practices of the legal world and always with a focus on social and sustainability aspects, is the “ESG Committee”. It is made up of 5 members (including 2 people from outside the Firm and 3 people identified as members of the Firm). The Assembly appointed, among the internal members,: Ottavia Orlandoni, accountant and partner of the Firm, Giulia Cristini, lawyer and professional of the firm, Anna Maria Ottimo, Executive Assistant Litigation. Among the external members, he appointed: Gaia Melloni, Professor at the University of Lausanne on corporate sustainability (https://hecnet.unil.ch/hec/recherche/fiche?pnom=gmelloni&dyn_lang=fr) and Alice Pasquini, aka Alicè (https://www.alicepasquini.com/it/). Alicè is a contemporary artist whose works are exhibited on urban surfaces, in galleries and museums in hundreds of cities around the world. Her research ranges from the narration of feminine vitality, far from the woman-object stereotype, to installations with the use of unusual materials. innovative mindset that also has the courage to go beyond the confines of the legal and business world to fully address the relationship with professionals, employees and stakeholders. Thanks to the transversal skills of its members, the ESG Committee will take care of assessing, also by collecting external reports, the compliance of the work of the Firm and its members with the principles listed in the so-called “Keywords”: Sustainability, Networking, Innovation, Growth, Commitment and ESG. The ESG Committee’s task will therefore also be to bring suggestions and proposals to improve the way in which it conducts its business. member of the Firm, to the adoption of solutions that are respectful of the environment and to the creation of socially useful moments and activities, on the other hand, to support the propensity of customers to the ESG criteria. The firm, which had already attracted attention for modern communication methods, has concretely translated the principles that had inspired it since its creation and which had been made known through the so-called “keywords”.
