Slovak skier Petra Vlhová has had an exceptionally successful weekend. In Levi, Finland, she achieved a winning double, for which she earned not only World Cup and prize money points in 90,000 Swiss francs, but also a “live reward” – two reindeer.

Since it was already her 4th and 5th victory at this event, the Slovak skier could slowly start a reindeer farm, but it has a catch – she only got the animals in sight. The slalom winner will not become their de facto owner, based on this nice tradition he only has the right to feed them and give them a name. The animals then remain living on a nearby farm, where they can be visited by their “baptists”.

The wolf reindeer family already has 5 members. When she won the slalom in Levi in ​​2017, she named the little reindeer after her father – Igor. After last year’s double, her mental trainer Pepi and her brother’s daughter Lujza received this honor.

After Saturday’s and Sunday’s triumph of Vlhová, two new animals were added to her collection. The fourth reindeer was named Michal, according to a Slovak journalist, and eventually his brother Boris, whose name bears the last addition, also came across.
