Sudan, agreement with the military: Hamdok will return as prime minister

Agreement reached between the Sudanese armed forces for the return to the head of the government of Abdalla Hamdok, whose civil executive was overthrown by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan on 25 October. “A political agreement has been concluded between General Burhan, Abdallah Hamdok, political forces and civil society organizations for a return of Hamdok to his place and the release of political detainees”, anticipated Sudanese mediator Fadlallah Burma.
