Orelsan hid gold tickets in his album “Civilization” to win concerts for life – The HuffPost

MUSIC – Orelsan thinks he’s Willy Wonka. Like the famous chocolatier imagined by writer Roald Dahl, the French rapper has created a (very) limited edition of his new album Civilization released on Friday, November 19, in which he concealed five gold tickets. As a result, free access to its concerts for life for two people, excluding festival.

Orelsan announced the news this Saturday, November 20 in a video posted on his Instagram page. “Golden CD” pressed and the famous golden tickets in hand, he prepares the “boxing” (as he calls it himself, meaning “packaging”) of this exceptional edition.

“It can be in Perpignan, it can be in Switzerland, it can be in Luxembourg,” says Orelsan, assuring that these tickets will be distributed randomly in stores. “It can be Carrefour, it can be Leclerc, it can be Amazon …” So “it’s up to you,” he concludes, proving once again that he knows how to handle the art of communication and marketing.

But that’s not the only revelation made in this almost three-minute video. Because in view of the success of the album (certified gold disc even before its release just with pre-orders), it announces the sale of four other new editions, limited to 30,000 copies: discs colored in red, green, blue or black.

This brings to 19 the number of album versions. The 39-year-old rapper decided to create a CD for each track, the number of copies of which varies between 500 and 35,000. Welcome to the crazy world of Orelsan.
