As of Monday (November 22), a new COVID machine will enter into force, which was approved by the government last Thursday (November 18). In connection with the new measures, the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic (ÚVZ) several decreeswhich put the individual measures into practice. They also apply to shops and services.

From the red color, which is currently the whole of Slovakia, it will be possible to enter non-social facilities only for fully vaccinated or those who have overcome the disease. For children from 2 to 12 years of age, a negative antigen test not older than 48 hours or a PCR / LAMP test not older than 72 hours is required to visit a non-special facility. In the burgundy and black districts, such establishments also have lunched opening hours, from 5.00 am to 10.00 pm.

Essential shops and services will be open to everyone.

Which operations are essentially determined by the decree as follows:

• grocery store

• drugstore

• medical device stores

• ophthalmic optics

• newspaper and printed matter stores

• pet food stores

• veterinary clinics

• motor vehicle spare parts stores

• towing services

• telecommunications operators

• mail

• banks

• financial, insurance and leasing services

• footwear and clothing

• household and gardening supplies

• establishments providing medical and pedagogical intervention or therapy to persons with disabilities.

• medical spas and spa treatment facilities providing services to patients on the basis of a doctor’s prescription

• catering establishments, including permanent stalls, which dispense food and drink packaged for pick-up or delivery

• pharmacies, libraries, laundries, dry cleaners, key services or petrol stations

• dispensing points for goods purchased at a distance, including the receipt of complaints

• mail order sale of goods

• expenditure, return and claims for goods through bale machines and similar devices

• funeral services, funeral services and crematoria

• technical and emission control services, collection points for receiving applications for the issue of tachographic cards

• repair and servicing of electronics, machinery and other equipment

• taxi service

• lawyers, notaries, executors, trustees in bankruptcy, mediators, auctioneers, arbitrators, experts, interpreters and translators

• collection yards

• business locations of network industries (electricity, water, gas)

• long-term accommodation and quarantine accommodation services

• uncovered or partially covered markets with the sale of seedlings, flowers, vegetables, fruits, food: they must ensure one-way movement of customers, regulated entry and exit, distance of points of sale 2 meters from each other

• factory, school and similar kitchens and dining rooms
