The government yesterday adopted new measures, which will come into force on Monday. After the new one, the capacity at mass events will be significantly reduced, this also applies to the number of people at sports matches. Slovak sports clubs criticize this regulation.

As of Monday, November 22, 2021, mass events will not take place in the red, burgundy and black districts in the base mode.

At sporting events that will take place in the red, burgundy and black districts in the OP regime, capacity will be significantly reduced. In red districts the limit is a maximum of 200, in burgundy a maximum of 100 and in black a maximum of 50 people.

For clubs, it can be liquidating

The new measures are criticized by several clubs. According to SITA, the hockey extra-league clubs in Slovakia did not take into account such extensive restrictions for the vaccinated.

“As representatives of Slovak professional hockey, we believed that thanks to the support of vaccinations, the situation from last season will not be repeated and matches will be able to be played in front of solid aspects.
