The goalkeeper Košarišťan kept the guests at the promising chances of Michnáč and Welychka. In the 9th minute, the people of Prešov got to the first power play, they created pressure in it, but without a goal effect. After her, the “steelworkers”, who settled in the offensive zone, also tried the game in numerous advantages, but they did not surprise the opponent’s attentive defense with a series of passes. After returning to the ice, Welychka got into a break in which Chovan fouled him, but he still broke into the chance, which was missed by the Košice player.

The introduction to the second part was also mainly about attentive goalkeepers. The goalless score was changed by the Slovak in the 32nd minute, when, after cooperating with Lapšanský, the puck for Bespalov arrived – 0: 1. The people of Košice had two more power play in the rest of the second part, but the defense of the home team, led by the attentive Bespal, managed the situation.
