327 students with Covid-19, 148 closed classes: an update in Normandy schools – actu.fr

Friday 19 November 2021, the academy of Normandy took stock of theCovid-19 epidemic in schools, colleges and high schools public and private under contract.

Only one establishment is closed out of 3,225, it is the Georges-Bizet nursery school in Canteleu, near Rouen (Seine-Maritime), closed until Tuesday 23 November.

327 out of 589,246 students are positive for Covid, a percentage of 0.05%. In addition, 90 students have tested positive in the last 24 hours, says the academy.

In all, 148 classes are closed: 27 in Calvados, 27 in Eure and 85 in Seine-Maritime. In Normandy, the incidence rate exceeded the alert threshold of 50 set by the health authorities. Friday, November 19, 2021, there are 64 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
