Libya, Twitter suspends Gaddafi jr

Twitter suspended the account of Saif al Islam Gaddafi, the eldest son of the former Libyan leader, who ran for the presidential elections on December 24 in Libya. The Libya Observer writes it, adding that the reasons for the provision are not known. The account was suspended 24 hours after it was opened. It had reached 27,000 followers and contained only one tweet in which he urged Libyans to vote, declaring “the hour of truth has arrived”.
