Žbirka was proud of his children and humorously claimed that they inherited the beauty from their mothers.

Miro Žbirka and his second wife Katka lived in a happy marriage of 33 years, so everyone got to know her. On the other hand, almost no one knows his first wife, Helga, whom he married when he was very young, only twenty years old.
