Slovak defender Andrej Sekera returned to the squad after a four-game hiatus and recorded his jubilee 200th career assistance to contribute Dallas to a 5: 2 triumph over Philadelphia. Anton Chudobin made 31 hits, and Luke Glendening, Rooper Hintz, Tyler Seguin, Joe Pavelski, and Radek Faksa slipped the ball into the empty net. Woll helped Toronto win his debut

Joseph Woll had his premiere in the NHL and with 23 interventions helped Toronto to win 5: 4 over Buffalo. Morgan Rielly decided it just 11.8 seconds before the end of the third period and after the Maple Leafs lost the lead in the second half 4: 2. It was the second defender’s latest winning goal in the club’s history after Matt Hunwick (59:52 in 2016). David Kämpf, Ondřej Kaše, Michael Bunting and John Tavares also scored the third victory in a row and the eighth of the last nine duels. The Sabers lost the sixth duel out of the last seven. Jeff Skinner scored two goals and added an assist, Tage Thompson scored a goal and Rasmus Dahlin scored an assist, while Aaron Dell scored 21. Woll is Toronto’s first goalkeeper to win his debut since November 30, 2015, when Garret Sparks did so.

Batherson helped end the Ottawa series of losses

Ottawa built a 5-0 lead to eventually beat Pittsburgh 6-3 and end the six-game losing streak. Casey DeSmith of 23 shots was beaten by Zach Sanford, Michael Del Zotto, Parker Kelly, Tim Stützle and Drake Batherson, who later added a goal to the empty net – his second four-point performance of the year. He also left the duel with two assists and that threatened not to play – but in the end he had a false positive test. Filip Gustavsson faced 31 shots and was defeated by two players – once Kasperi Kapanen, twice Evand Rodrigues. Both added after the assistance. The Penguins lost the third game of the last four. Home striker Shane Pinto did not finish the duel due to an upper body injury.

The Florida derby was played without an injured Erik Cernak, who watched his Tampa lose a two-goal lead before Brayden Point decided in the third minute of extra time to win her Florida 3: 2. Pat Maroon and Victor Hedman scored in normal playing time, Andrei Vasilevsky won a duel of Russian goalkeepers with 26 interventions. Sergei Bobrovsky made 21 interventions and the Panthers goals were scored by Jonathan Huberdeau and Eetu Luostarinen. While the home team won a point series for seven matches, the guests lost the fourth duel in a row. Defender Zach Bogosian, who scored an assist, returned to the line-up.

Panarin, Kreider helped the Rangers succeed in Columbus

Artem Panarin and Chris Kreider scored two goals to help the Rangers defeat Columbus 5: 3 in a match not caught by Igor Sestorkin. He contributed to the win with 31 interventions before heading to the locker room in the 54th minute with suspicion of a concussion. He was not confirmed in the end. Alexandar Georgiev then covered both shots he faced. Jacob Trouba also helped to win, finishing a quick sequence of three goals for his team – they fell in 63 seconds, the fastest in team history since 1993. Elvis Merzlikins scored five goals from 41 shots and his teammates scored Jakub Voráček, Eric Robinson and Alexandre Texier . For Voráček, this was the first goal since returning to Columbus.

The Predators defeated the Coyotes, with Josi scoring four points

Roman Josi scored two goals and two assists, and Juuse Saros made 22 strikes to lead Nashville to a 4-1 win over Arizona. It was Josi’s second four-point performance of the season. Matt Duchene and Mikael Granlund were also happy with the goals, who helped the Predators stretch a series of wins to three matches and points to five. Jakib Chychrun ruined Saros’s goal in the 54th minute and Karel Vejmelka left the duel with 20 interventions. The Coyotes lost the third game in a row and the 14th of 15 they played this season. Mark Scheifele scored after 32 seconds of set time to decide Winnipeg’s 3-2 win over Los Angeles, which lost the winning streak after seven games. It was his 10th goal in overtime in his career, breaking the club record of Ilya Kovaľčuk (9). Dylan DeMelo tied the game at 2 – 2, Kyle Connor scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. Connor Hellebuyck covered 27 shots and picked up the puck from the goal after goals by Carl Grundstrom and Brendan Lemieux. Cal Petersen performed 20 interventions.

Girard four-point when winning over the Sharks

Samuel Girard scored an empty goal and three assists, Nazem Kadri a goal and two assists to help Colorado to a 6-2 victory over San Jose. Devon Toews, Alex Newhook (first goal in the basic part of his career, previously scored in the playoffs), Logan O’Connor and Andre Burakovsky also entered the list of shooters, Darcy Kuemper made 28 interventions. Only Logan Couture and Alexander Barabanov beat him. Adin Hill collected five goals from 30 shots and the Sharks lost the fourth match of the last five, despite the return of seven players. The duel was not completed by Colorado striker JT Compher.

Vegas has stretched a series of themselves and the Canucks

Yevgeny Dadonov scored two goals and an assist, Jonathan Marchessault scored two goals and Vegas won the third game in a row, dealing with Vancouver 7: 4. Mark Stone, the returnee, was also happy with the win. Jake Leschynshyn scored his first goal in the NHL, and Reilly Smith and Brayden McNabb also hit the black.
