Federmanager, + 50% the demand for managers compared to 2020

In October 2021, the demand for new managers was 50% higher than in the same month of 2020. This is what emerges from the estimates of Federmanager, which today held its national assembly in Rome, and from the data from the Observatory 4. Manager according to which the centrality of the role of executives is increasingly recognized by the Italian business system, just as it was in the worst phase of the pandemic. According to the Federmanager survey on the termination of relationships with executive contracts in 2020, the number of managers who left companies was 15% lower than in 2019. Today, companies are asking for new, specialized and high-value-added skills. A trend that is reflected in the data provided by the 4.Manager Observatory which describe a growing difficulty in finding which today concerns 36.4% of total new hires and which rises to 48.4% for executives. There is therefore a gap still to be filled as the supply of managerial profiles fails to meet demand.
