Fico: The president has chosen the path of Kiska and can end up the same way – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. President Zuzana Caputova she chose the same political path as the ex-president Andrej Kiska and how he will end if he does not understand the role and position of the head of state.

This was stated in the video on the social network by the chairman of the opposition party Smer Robert Fico in response to the President’s statement in the discussion session.

“If you imagine justice and democracy as you brought it from a liberal political environment, go back to it and give space to a head of state who thinks well about this country and the people,” Fico Čaputová said.

Fico recalled that the head of state had thwarted the referendum on early elections and was doing everything to thwart others. In his own words, he does not understand why he is attacking the opposition, which “is doing its job”.

Čaputová sees the opposition’s activities in connection with the referendum as a “game of interest in the referendum”.

According to her, it is irresponsible to stir up people and develop passions so that the opposition can attack the presidency it is about in the future. If the opposition were to hold a referendum, then after discussions with constitutional lawyers, questions could be formulated so that they could be listed.
