VIDEO Deputies paid tribute to Miroslav Žbirka in a minute of silence:

They put a minute of silence before the evening vote

Already during the morning opening of the 48th meeting of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Milan Laurenčík (SaS), who chaired the meeting, repeated the sad news from Wednesday evening and announced a minute of silence for the deceased artist. “The legend of Slovak popular music has left. Last night, Slovakia was shaken by the news that the legendary singer, musician and composer Miroslav Žbirka had left us forever. We will remember his memory in a minute of silence, but only when voting until the parliamentary board meets.” said Vice President Laurenčík in the morning.

However, the vote lasted until 5 pm, and so the aforementioned minute of silence moved to the early evening itself.
