This is the warning from Lorenzo Leogrande, president of the 21st National Conference of the Italian Association of Clinical Engineers (Aiic) which opened in Milan. As for the topics at the center of the meeting, he pointed out, “the issues are very topical” and in particular “we cannot fail to mention Pnrr”. “There are many difficulties, the situation is not ideal – noted Leogrande – There are important resources that are also destined for technological innovation, but we must be careful. Technologies are also organization, skills and professionals, the messages we want to get started. from the conference are linked precisely to these complexities “. Another protagonist theme at the Aiic conference is cybersecurity. “The issue of the governance of the cybersecurity of medical devices is very important – remarked Francesco Martelli, researcher at the Higher Institute of Health – We were pleased to note how, for the first time in Italy, a real operation was carried out in the Pnrr governance, establishing that there is a need to make a specific investment with important objectives.
