Kylie Jenner defends Travis Scott accused of causing Astroworld drama

Eight spectators were killed in the early evening, Friday, November 5, following a crowd movement during the concert of the 30-year-old rapper, joined on stage at that time by Drake. More than 300 people had to be treated for injuries on the spot, including minor scrapes and bruises, authorities said.

Present at the time of the facts, Kylie Jenner is certain that her companion has nothing to do with it. “I want to be clear, we weren’t aware of the deaths until the information came out after the show. In no case would we have continued to film knowingly. I extend my deepest condolences to all families during these difficult times and I will pray for the healing of all who have been touched. ”

A complaint filed

While the Houston police have opened an investigation to determine the causes of this tragedy, specifying that they were examining in particular the video footage of the evening, a lawsuit was filed this Sunday against Travis Scott and Drake, accused of having “Wreaked havoc,” according to lawyers for the plaintiff, a 23-year-old man named Kristian Paredes. He is one of the “seriously injured” people at the concert.

Texas law firm Thomas J. Henry Law tweeted an article published by the daily on Sunday Daily Mail on these lawsuits, confirming that he had filed “one of the first complaints against the Travis Scott tragedy at the Astroworld festival”.

Texas resident Kristian Paredes is also suing the concert organizers, Live Nation, and the performance venue. He explains that he “felt an immediate push” at the front of the general entrances section when Travis Scott took the stage, according to the complaint. “The crowd became chaotic and a stampede began. Several people begged Live Nation security guards for help, but were ignored, ”the complaint continues.

The complaint, filed in court in Houston, assures that Travis Scott has already “incited chaos and mayhem” during previous concerts. She also accuses rapper Drake of having contributed to this crowd movement by going on stage. They continued the concert, despite the “crowd getting out of control”.

According to other accounts, and as claimed by Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, who launched Astroworld Tour in 2018, has stopped performing in view of his distressed fans near the stage. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said authorities were reviewing video footage and speaking to witnesses, concert organizers and people in hospital.
