DAC coach Antal Németh, who was fired by the management according to information from Nemzeti Sport, allegedly paid for the failure on Saturday.

DAC entered the match well. After less than two minutes, the home side was awarded a free kick. In the first half hour, the Danube center-goers locked up the opponent in front of his sixteen. They played fast, systematically, well, the goal hung in the air. The guests defended themselves and concentrated on counterattacks.

The opening half hour was the best part of the match. Paradoxically, we didn’t see a single goal in it. But then lethargy crept into the home team. Errors in the pass, fast forward and furious, backward only a trick. Punishment had to come. Adam Morong was stylized as a punisher. His two goals were divided by a half-time in eleven minutes.

For Morong, it should be emphasized that he gave four of his twelve goals in the highest competition to Dunajská Streda. All in less than a year. He scored against the DAC in three mutual matches in a row – last autumn and in the 3rd round of the current season once, last Saturday even twice. “It’s probably because the players of Dunajská Streda give me more space than other teams. I can’t explain it any other way. Sometimes it is so good that you are more successful against some teams than against others, ” said a two-goal shooter.

When Serede Bernard Karrica scored the third goal half a minute before the end of regular time, dozens of spectators rose from the stands as ordered. They did not see to the end the troubled performance of the home team. Even the announcer just resignedly announced into the microphone: “The decisive third goal was scored by Bernard Karrica, our destiny is sealed.”

Fans shouted for the dismissal of home coach Antal Németh. He spoke reluctantly at the press conference. “I understand why they whistled. I focus on my work and do it the best I can. If the management makes a decision, I will accept it, “ announced the 47-year-old helmsman.

However, according to Nemzeti Sport, the management fired him. We were able to contact DAC owner Oszkár Világi, but declined to comment. He did not confirm it, but he did not refute it either.
