BRATISLAVA. Scanned copies of the passport of the Minister of Economy have leaked to the Internet Richard Sulík (SaS) and bathrobes Juraja Drobu (SaS) and Jozef Viskupič (OĽaNO).

Free copies were available on Wednesday evening for a total of 60 members of the Slovak delegation, which is currently in Dubai at the World Expo. Among them are private entrepreneurs, employees of other state institutions, but also journalists who monitor the journey.

The zip file with copies of the passports appeared on the well-known web store uloz.to without any protection. The file was not password protected and you did not even need to know the exact internet link to download it to access it.

Anyone could thus access their sensitive personal data, including passport number, birth number, but also the form of the signature that is part of the travel document.

The file was apparently available for several days, after which it was deleted from the portal.

“We are currently investigating what exactly happened and for what reason these data were published. In the event that we find an illegal act, we will contact the relevant authorities,” responds Ministry of Economy spokeswoman Katarína Matejková.
