20:05 – COVID: The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has completed the process of ongoing evaluation of Eli Lilly’s COVID-19 medicine. The American pharmaceutical company withdrew the requirement to approve its anti-covid drug at its own request. Referring to Wednesday’s EMA opinion, the DPA was informed.

In a letter to Brussels, the company stated that, given the low demand from EU Member States, it would not pay to provide it with the additional data requested by the regulator. (TASR)

18:57 – PREMIERE: People vaccinated against COVID-19 should have access to selected facilities also in black districts. This is what Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OĽANO) is thinking. However, the decision will be at a consortium of experts, he stated at Wednesday’s press conference in Košice. He does not consider it necessary to tighten anti-epidemic measures at state borders. The prime minister also called on the unvaccinated to reconsider their decision.

17:33 – PREŠOV: The mobile units of the Prešov self-governing region (PSK) went to the Roma Community Center in Prešov on Wednesday with a vaccine against the COVID-19 disease. It will also be presented to those interested in Medzilaborce on Thursday (November 4). At the same time, the coming weekend (November 6 – 7) will continue to be vaccinated in three shopping centers (OC) in Prešov, Poprad and Humenné. He will also carry out revaccination with the third dose of vaccine in the Prešov vaccination center on Volgogradská Street. (TASR)
