According to data analysts from the Data without Pathos project, there are currently delta variants in all regions. They pointed out that the proportion of infected seniors over 80 and young people under 20 is very similar in each region. They explained that Bratislava has many positive citizens, but little income from hospitals. Specifically, the number of hospitalized patients in the capital is approaching one hundred. The same trend can be seen in the districts of Nitra and Trnava, where they have good vaccination coverage of seniors over 50 years.

Hell in the east

However, the situation is different in the east of Slovakia. The data without pathos point out that the situation in the Košice and Prešov regions is alarming, because there are a lot of positive people there.
