Thanks to a joint operation between Cdp Venture Capital and Plug and Play, the largest Open Innovation platform in the world, the first Italian accelerator dedicated to the automotive sector is born: the Motor Valley Accelerator of Modena. Italy, explains Fiammetta Mataloni, “we have created a system that favors startups and not only accompanies them in the investment part. On the one hand, therefore, we ground investments in a competitive way and connect them with large companies to create pilot projects”. “We have also created a meritocratic system for which at the end of the acceleration process the best startups receive an additional investment, about half a million per star up.
