Covid today Abruzzo, 106 infections and 2 deaths

There are 106 new coronavirus infections today 3 November in Abruzzo, according to data from the latest covid-19 bulletin. There are another 2 deaths. The new cases, aged between 1 and 90 years, bring the total from the beginning of the emergency to 83157. The death toll rises to 2564: today’s victims are an 80 year old from the province of L’Aquila and a 97 year old from the province of Teramo). The number of positive cases also includes 78664 discharged / healed (+106 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / cured and deceased from the total of positives) are 1929 (-2 compared to yesterday): the total also includes 441 cases concerning patients lost to follow-up since the beginning of emergency, on which checks are underway. There are 67 patients (+6 compared to yesterday) hospitalized in the medical area; 6 (-3 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 1856 (-5 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. In the last 24 hours, 2629 molecular swabs were performed (1493106 in total since the start of the emergency) and 12370 antigen tests (1076318). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 0.70 percent. Of the total number of positive cases, 21376 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+26 compared to yesterday), 21105 in the province of Chieti (+8), 19863 in the province of Pescara (+18), 20005 in the province of Teramo ( +57), 680 outside the region (unchanged) and 128 (-3) for which provenance checks are underway.
