Schoolchildren have an autumn vacation. An overview of other days when they will be free again – TVNOVINY.sk

On Thursday, the autumn holidays began for primary and secondary school students. This is the first holiday of this school year. They will return to school on Tuesday, November 2. After the autumn holidays, the schoolchildren will immediately rest again during Christmas. Schoolchildren will take the last day of classes before the Christmas holidays on 22 December. They will not start learning again until 2022, on Monday 10 January. After these days of rest, schoolchildren will have time off during the one-day half-year holidays (February 4).

The first students in the east of Slovakia in the Košice and Prešov regions take the spring break from 21 to 25 February. Holidays for children from the Bratislava, Trnava and Nitra regions will follow from 28 February to 4 March. Pupils in central Slovakia in the Žilina, Banská Bystrica and Trenčín regions will be the last to take time off during the spring holidays, from 7 to 11 March.

The penultimate holiday for schoolchildren before the summer holidays will be the Easter holidays. Schoolchildren will rest from the school from April 14 to 19, they will return to the school desks again on Wednesday, April 20.

The reward for the year-round effort will be for schoolchildren two months off in the summer. I will take a break from school duties from 1 July to 31 August. The school year 2022/2023 will start on Monday 5 September. The schedule of holidays is published by the Ministry of Education on its website.
